1-2: Espanyol B win in Aragón
The team battle back to win their second game of the season
Espanyol B took a 2-1 victory against Deportivo Aragón in their latest league fixture, fighting back from conceding early thanks to goals from Becerra and Gorjón.
An intense pace was set by both teams from the start, and after three minutes the home side went ahead via a counter-attack finished off by Guillem.
Espanyol B had spells in which they were in control, but Zaragoza defended their area very well and could only create chances from distance. Nabil, with a shot from the edge of the area, came close to an equaliser, but was denied by an inspired stop by the goalkeeper.
Upon their return from the interval, the pericos showed determination to get an equaliser. They did so after just five minutes, as Becerra put them back on terms.
Chasing the three points, Becerra hit the crossbar with a solid chance, but it would not be until the closing moments that RCD Espanyol B got their winner: In the 84th minute, Gorjón, who had been on the pitch for just five minutes, headed in a corner kick into the back of the net.
The 2-1 win continues a fantastic start for Luis Blanco's team, which has seen them take two victories in the first two matchdays of the season.
