1,000 Primera División wins for RCD Espanyol

The club reach an historic figure

The victory against RCD Mallorca took RCD Espanyol to a milestone in LaLiga: That of their 1,000th victory in the Primera División. Los Pericos become the seventh club to reach this figure.

RCD Espanyol's first win in the top flight came on February 10th, 1929, against Real Unión de Irún. The 100th victory, against Atlético Aviación (4-2). Against Sevilla (1-0) they earned their 500th victory, and this Saturday they made it 1,000.

RCD Espanyol are an historic LALIGA club, a founding club in the competition and a benchmark for others to follow.
