RCD Espanyol Femení earn a point on their travels against SD Eibar Femenino

RCD Espanyol Femení took a point from their visit to Eibar on Saturday, playing out a 0-0 draw with the side who have conceded the fewest goals in the league this season.

Despite having the better of the chances, they were unable to break the deadlock in their latest away fixture.

In the first half, both teams were very well organised and allowed precious few opportunities on goal. Los Pericos did enjoy two chances of note, both for Adriana: The first, after fifteen minutes, a shot that went into the side netting, and the second a strike following a ball stolen by Carol that ended up being blocked for a corner.

Eibar looked to generate danger with direct play and broke into the final third sporadically, but they barely made Mar Segarra work.

In the second half, the game gained intensity, although it followed a script similar to that of the first half. The clearest chance of the entire match came to Judit Pablos, forcing a spectacular save from the Eibar goalkeeper.

The match ended 0-0, and RCD Espanyol Femenino will try to build on the point next weekend when they play at home.
