“We will compete”
David López said that against Barcelona "there will be no lack of intensity or desire to win the game"
David López thinks that the team has reached a good level and it is a team more reliable than a few weeks ago. “The last victories have given us more confidence to play better and that has provided that the team founds itself in the most reliable moment of the season.
"We have gone through ups and downs, with good game moments and phases in which it cost us more to do better. Starting from the base of conceding fewer goals we have seen that we were able to play better and create more opportunities. For example, the match against At. Madrid gave us confidence to move forward".
“Against Barcelona you have to do your best and maybe it is not enough. You have to be very concentrated and focus during the 90 minutes, because if you relax, Barcelona is able to comeback as they have shown. We will compete and there will be no lack of intensity or desire to win the game. We are in good shape to play Barcelona. If we could choose one, it would be this one. I like to play derbies and if they are in the last eight of the cup, even better. It will be a very nice match. We can win. Liverpool defeated City last Sunday. We will compete and try to win, specially, at home where we will have the support from our fans”.
