“We have to improve results away”
David López said that it is a good moment to try to add another victory
Espanyol visits Vitoris to play Alavés this Saturday. The Basque squad is the last team in the table. However, David López said that is going to be a very difficult match. “One of the things that we have to improve are the results away and this Saturday is a great opportunity. Alavés is not doing very well but Mendizorroza is a complicated ground. We are going with a lot of thrill, to continue adding points and win in a complicated field”.
“We have gone through a difficult part of the season. We have played away matches very complicated against teams that will play in Europe next year. We have to take a step forward because it is an important moment of the season and it will be very important to add another victory”.
“Against the teams that don’t like to have the ball we have more problems, but we have players with a lot of quality and that can control the game. We have improved in that aspect”, he said.
Finally, about his personal situation, he said that he feels very well. “I feel very well. I am happy because I have the coach’s confidence and things are turning out well. I hope to keep playing and help the team”, he said.
