“We have our goals very clear”
David López said that achieving four points from nine is not bad
Espanyol has finished this demanding week of three matches with four points out of nine. David López said that the team could have obtained more points but considers that is not a bad balance.
“It has been a very hard and demanding week. Maybe we could have obtained more points but we are still fighting four our goal. We are fighting for the seventh and four points of nine is not bad. We have a clear goal that is to be in the first ten. We are going step by step and we can’t put pressure on us. We are playing against teams that are very well structured, that have higher budgets and we will try to improve the results of the first round. We try to isolate from the outside and we only think in the next match”.
About Las Palmas he said that it is “a very dangerous team that has very good players and has done good signings this winter. It is a team that feels uncomfortable without the ball and we will try to leave them far away from our box. I don’t like playing on Friday because people work and it is late but we can’t do anything”.
