“We have been far superior to our rivals”
Vicente Moreno was upset by tonight’s result against Cádiz CF. The coach regretted that a positive result was not achieved, but was able to highlight other relevant details. “We have not achieved the most important thing, which is the result, but we have had positive things. The team played a good game and when you create so many chances, with that superiority, you should have the objective of turning that into a victory. We have been far superior to our rivals in terms of playing quality and chances; but, in an isolated action they had the effectiveness that we have not had”, he said.
The Blue and Whites’ coach was also adamant that “we are working with great intensity”, adding that “it has to be like that. We must demand the most from ourselves, and for that we need the best from all of us who make up this family”.
He acknowledged his ambition to win, “and I don’t care if it’s a friendly or a training session”, and emphasized that “it is difficult to create chances against Cádiz, but today we have created many. I’m not entirely happy,” he lamented, while underscoring the good performance in terms of chances and quality play.
Finally, he also pointed out that in these weeks “we try to accumulate the maximum work in all the players, but we have to be careful, because in training too problems can emerge, and we have to be careful that there are no injuries. And in this quest for everything to flow, some players take part in some games and others in other games, except for some who are not available due to physical problems”.
