“We are all clear where we want to get to”
Luis Miguel Ramis wants to continue seeing progress when they host Real Zaragoza on Friday
Barely days after the Copa del Rey win, Luis Miguel Ramis and his side are always switching attention back to the league against Real Zaragoza on Friday.
RCD Espanyol are preparing for a second home game at the Stage Front Stadium inside four days, welcoming another promotion challenger and historic LaLiga side in Zaragoza.
Ramis said, “The results give us comfort that make us rest assured, as we are eager for the next game well. We will try to surprise the opponent, we have been working so we can identify their weaknesses, which must be trained and repeated. I want us to be a difficult, daring, ambitious team”.
Espanyol return to LALIGA Hypermotion action with the visit of Real Zaragoza, looking to break into the top two and continue the push for promotion back to the top tier. Víctor Ruiz and Nico Melamed continue as long-term injury absentees, with no new injuries reported since the cup clash on Tuesday.
Ramis continued, “I expect a very complicated match against a very good opponent. I cannot remember a single match that was plain-sailing against them. That's why we have to play a very complete 90 minutes. Football can change and that is why I find every opponent equally dangerous regardless of whether we win or lose”.
