“We’re discontented”
Vicente Moreno admits the team lacked “sharpness” up front
RCD Espanyol manager, Vicente Moreno, admitted that the team was “discontented” by the draw with CD Tenerife. “We’re discontented because it was important to win today’s match. All we can do now is prepare for the match next week to have a chance of winning it,” summed up Espanyol coach, Vicente Moreno.
Moreno acknowledged that he was optimistic after the team's “good start.” “But the away side scored with their first attempt at goal. I told the players they had lots of time to turn the match around. We got impatient, but we had a better start to the second half. RDT supplied the goal, but we didn’t have the sharpness that we’ve had in other matches, and it wasn’t to be.”
