“This is a good time for us”
Vicente Moreno highlights the team's great start to the match
RCD Espanyol manager, Vicente Moreno, acknowledged that “it is a good time” for the team, and added that the three points “brought good feelings and goals. Many of the things we said before the match occurred and that makes you happy. It’s difficult to keep this level up for each match, but the idea is that we start matches like the one today, and produce what happened after those first really good 15 minutes.”
Vicente Moreno defended Fuenlabrada as being “a very good team that just came off two wins against Mallorca and Leganés”, but acknowledged that Espanyol were superior. “We had a really good start besides the penalty incident in our favour. There was a good feeling that positive things were going to happen,” he stated. The Espanyol manager highlighted that the team want “to please” and added that “it’s not always easy, but we know that people and the team will be satisfied. It’s important to have this bond.”
