“The fans are the 12th man”
Embarba says “my experience here so far has been amazing” and that he feels “welcomed by one of the best clubs in the league”
Adrián Embarba is adapting fast to life in an Espanyol team that is taking firm steps forward. The attacker from Madrid says that all home games “will be hugely important with the fans supporting us as they are. They’re getting behind us, encouraging us and being the 12th man. We have to make our ground a fortress, but we always have to give everything away from how because we’re convinced that we can do this”.
He also claims that the win against Mallorca “was so important”, and even more so with them being “a direct rival”. He says that the fans had an unbelievable attitude, saying “everything I’ve experienced here since I arrived has been amazing”.
He also points out that he feels incredibly “welcomed by one of the best clubs in the league” and indicates that “I would love to be able to pay all of that back with my efforts on the pitch. We still haven’t seen the best Embarba, but I’m happy”.
