“It is one of my best seasons”
Piatti said that the team is going to fight and try to win the next three games
Pablo Piatti has been one of the most outstanding players of Espanyol this season. The Argentinean has scored 10 goals to complete one of his best seasons in Spain. “For us the next three games are a personal challenge. We need to be humble and compete to try to get the maximum possible points. We will compete 100%, it will be a demanding match because they under great pressure. We are going to try to get the maximum points possible and hopefully we start with the three points this weekend”.
Thinking about next season, Piatti said that “we can still improve. We must continue growing in several aspects. There were key games in which we needed to add points. We played well but we weren’t able to win”.
About his performance, Piatti said that “last season I had a difficult situation, I was not lucky. This season I found the regularity and the confidence the matches give you. I found the balance to find performance. It is one of my best seasons in Spain”.
