“I am optimistic about this team”
Luis Miguel Ramis is looking for a reaction from the team against Levante this Sunday
Luis Miguel Ramis is eager for his side to show a reaction and has full faith in the squad, as he looked ahead to Sunday’s crucial clash with Levante.
Ramis said, “We are angry about what happened. We have talked about it and we have all recognised it, and I am very convinced that the team will increase its confidence and the results will arrive that put you at the top and remove any doubts. The group has trained phenomenally and the ones who are going to win the games are us and the fans”.
RCD Espanyol welcome Levante to the Stage Front Stadium this weekend, having won last time out at the Temple but with the duty to bounce back from the 3-2 defeat to Eldense on the road last week.
Ramis explained, “I am optimistic about this team, we have a lot of hope and contained anger for tomorrow. We want to do well and for the fans to be able enjoy a win. I am very clear about what I want from the team and how they are going to develop it, and I am convinced that we are going to achieve it”.
The men’s first team coach continued, “I analyse each match and the message that the last one leaves us is that we have to be more practical and know how to respond. Either we push to the limit or we will not show the superiority that, in principle, we have. Our best moment is yet to come, and I am one of those who believe that difficulty and problems are where growth appears”.
