“I am happy to play again”
Diego López said that he is trying to do his best
Diego López played again after five months. The goalkeeper has been working hard to recover after a complicated surgery. “I have a trajectory. I haven’t lost the confidence on myself during these years. I am happy for the people who have been helping me during these months. They have been very difficult four months. It was a very difficult surgery. I had an infection and I put on risk my leg and my career. I was with the team to get our goal that was get in the first ten. I looked for the club interests. Everything resulted in a situation that has harmed me. I have a clear conscience, I gave everything for the club last year and I took the maximum effort to operate. Now I hope to turn the situation around in the field”, he said.
"I want to enjoy and you enjoy doing what I like. When things go well as yesterday, one ends up happy. I am happy to return to defend these colours and now it is time to continue working", he said.
About the match against Tenerife, Diego López said that the team didn’t play well. “We didn’t do a good match. It was difficult, we travelled on the same day, the problems with the lights… The match wasn’t good, we didn’t create many opportunities and we weren’t able to counteract their qualities”.
