Sergio Sánchez is happy to play again for Espanyol
Sergio Sánchez was Espanyol’s last signing for the season 2017-18. The defender said Espanyol was his first option and added that to build a good group is the most important thing. “Espanyol was one of my two options. I wanted to come back to the League and there only were two options I liked and Espanyol was the first one. I didn’t doubt it and it is an honour to come back and defend my colours”.

Sergio said that it will be the manager who will decide if he is ready or not to play. “I will play in any position the manger says. I have been ten days without training and now I do my best to play”.
