"We're talking about conditions”
The vice-president of the RCD Espanyol of Barcelona has clarified some points
The vice-president of RCD Espanyol of Barcelona, Carlos García Pont, has visited the team this Friday at the team's concentration in Navata. García Pont has made it clear that Borja Iglesias is still a player of Espanyol although he has pointed out that they are negotiating with R. Betis.
"We're talking about conditions. Until the three parties agree, we will not be able to sign. For now, Borja is Espanyol player and until there is no agreement he will remain. He has a great professionalism. If Borja stays, we keep a player and if he leaves, we will have the resources to do other things. It will be done if Betis accepts conditions that we believe are good for them, Borja and for us", he summarized.
García Pont has also admitted that he is talking to Vargas and added that he is working to sign a goalkeeper.
