We are launching our website and web tv!
The Club goes digital with the aim of bringing new content to the fans and will offer the first team's pre-season through our new platforms
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona takes another step forward in the digitalisation process of the Club: it updates the corporate website and creates the web TV for the Espanyol Media module.
The Club, in this way, puts at the service of the fans a renewed platform, with service and purchase information, thus improving the usability for all users who browse through this new space.
In addition, Espanyol makes a leap forward in terms of graphic and audiovisual identity and creates the Club's first Video on Demand where fans will be able to watch, whenever they wish, all the content in video format: live matches, broadcasts, podcasts, reports and all the latest news.
Thanks to this evolutionary process, the Club will offer all of the first team's pre-season matches in digital format through the new Espanyol Media TV website and App. And it will continue to broadcast the Youth Academy and Women's matches, as well as new content that will arrive with the official start of the competition. All of this, with the aim of creating spaces to connect with the fans and bring the Club closer to the supporters.
In addition, the pre-season will also be available in China thanks to the Club's firm commitment to internationalisation and growth through digital platforms. It should be remembered that Espanyol was the first club to broadcast its Youth Academy and Women's Football matches in Chinese.
Last season, Espanyol generated more than 900,000 views on YouTube, more than 65 million impressions on Twitter, an engagement of 134.09 (+20%) on Instagram and more than 11 million impressions on Facebook.
This is a first phase and a starting point for more actions that will be developed in the coming months and that aim to offer a good service to the supporters, expand the fan base and generate new business opportunities.
This project has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of the companies involved; Tecsens, Signia Technologies, VIDNEO - Lavinia Tech Company and Izertis.
