V. Moreno: "We place a lot of value on today's victory"
Despite the clear victory tonight in Malaga, Vicente Moreno continues to maintain a calm, relaxed approach, without any pretentiousness. The coach said that “I don't know if it was the best game, or just the most complete of those we've played so far. It was a good game against a team that was doing things very well. We place great value on today's victory. There are definitely things that need to be strengthened and improved, but we are happy because the game was very complete.”
Based on the numbers that the team has obtained so far, he acknowledged that “these are very strong numbers, very difficult to achieve. It's reason to be optimistic and value the players' work. This is the way forward. It's a very long road. With 10 days you can only draw positive conclusions, but there are things that we need to improve. The team's been looking good since the beginning of the season. We really hope that, as time goes by, everything will keep improving. There have been better games and worse ones. I don't think it's very different from what will happen in the future. There will be better games, and worse ones.”
The coach also explained that he had given Wu Lei a few minutes after his injury, and pointed out that both Keidi Bare and Vadillo could have been in the squad, but “they have physical problems. I don't know what will happen in the next few days. It will be the doctors who decide, but we still can't predict it.”
