Unforgettable memories
The club's memory workshops have been one of the successes of the season
RCD Espanyol's memory workshops with the Domus Vi Claret residence have concluded for the season, with the project a resounding success.
Together with the FEAFV, the Veterans Group, the RCDE Foundation, the club's communications department, the LALIGA Foundation and LALIGA, the club carried out a solidarity project with the residents.
The 12 workshops saw great football moments remembered, with the intention of helping the elderly with their cognitive skills and bring back fond memories.
The communications department, besides the work to prepare each session, took the project further by inviting several special guests.
Striker Martin Braithwaite promised to dedicate his 21st goal of the season to all the residents. He fulfilled this promise on May 20th, during the match against Real Oviedo at the Stage Front Stadium.
The workshops have had a national impact, an in April the participants were able to see the Ciudad Deportiva and meet first team players Álvaro Aguado, Omar El Hilali, Edu Expósito, Jose Gragera and Salvi Sánchez.
It has been a very enriching experience, not only for the residents of Domus Vi Claret, but for all the members of RCD Espanyol who have been part of this project.
