RCDE eSports on the ESL Masters top 3 at mid-season

The “pericos” are in third position after 4 rounds, having lost only one match

RCD Espanyol eSports wants to be back at the ESL Masters Rocket League playoffs. After the first 4 rounds the club has reached a solid 3rd place, tied up in points with FC Barcelona that stands in 2nd place.

Last week the team played two matches resulting in one defeat and one victory. The match against Dead Rabbits ended 2-0 for RCDE, with no surprises and a consistent game from the “pericos”, led by captain Stake.

It was a tight series versus FC Barcelona, despite it being 2-0 to the “blaugranas” the result was in the air until the very last minute. Then, FC Barcelona scored again, winning the close match with only one goal per game.

“We’ve proved we can be in the playoffs, now we must work hard for the next round” said RCDE coach, Arleyobi. With only 3 rounds left to decide who makes it to the playoffs, RCD Espanyol eSports is well positioned and has a safe distance from the rest of the competition. The next opponents will be Crazy Crew, Fekyx and ARG, in this order.
