RCDE Esports defeat PSG in their first FIFA20 match
‘Cone’ beat french player ‘DaXe’ with the overall result of 2-0 in a best of 3 match
RCD Espanyol Esports has made a statement in FIFA20 last thursday when David ‘Cone’ Estébanez beat the Paris Saint-Germain eSports player, Lucas ‘DaXe’ Cuillerier, FIFA17 and FIFA18 world champion in a friendly match. They played without equalized ratings, meaning Cone was playing at a disadvantage from the beginning.
The match ended 2-0 in a very tight best of three series with both players showing their skills at the highest level. Cone won the first match with an unexpected 2-0, while the second match was decided in overtime, ending with 2-1 for the perico.
This weekend Cone has also reached the semifinals of the Área Movistar La Liga Showmatch, losing only against the winner of the tournament, José Vicente ‘Vivi Khofolo’ Marqués, from Valencia CF eSports.
Pro_Kaiiseer fell on the first round against José García from CD Leganés, after a very close match that was decided on penalties.
The RCDE Rocket League squad also played this weekend in the Rocket League Rival Series (RLRS), managing a fantastic win against top team Baguette Squad by 3-2. Things didn’t go as well against ARG and the pericos losing 1-3.
These results bring them to 7th place with a total of 2 wins and 4 losses.
