RCD Espanyol will begin their Copa del Rey campaign against CD Rincón, of the Andalusian Division of Honor Group II.

The draw was made on Monday in Madrid, with the one-match tie to be played on the weekend of 12th/13th in Málaga.

CD Rincón come to the first round tie after eliminating Montilla CF in a penalty shootout.
