RCD Espanyol supports LaLiga x Bloomsbury Football League in London
The Club has joined forces with LaLiga and Bloomsbury Football to support grassroots football
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona is proud to partner up with LaLiga and Bloomsbury Football as part of the LaLiga x Bloomsbury Football League in London.
The league, aimed at young people aged between 10 and 13, was established in November 2022 in collaboration with 12 Spanish clubs, including RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. The young pericos are representing the white-and-blue colours and defending the badge from across the continent.
Bloomsbury Football is a London-based grassroots football charity changing the game for young people in London. Founded in 2018, Bloomsbury Football’s mission is to ensure that no young person is priced out of play and has the opportunity to access football in the capital. Through a financial assistance model, Bloomsbury Football brings players from all backgrounds together on the pitch with no young person ever turned away. The charity uses the power of football to support the mental & physical health, build stronger communities and teach transferrable life skills.
LaLiga launched in the UK in 2020, as they support football at the grassroots level by working with Bloomsbury Football. In this multi-year partnership, LaLiga and Bloomsbury Football are creating new opportunities for Bloomsbury players, upskilling members of the Bloomsbury team and creating live events for both communities.
RCD Espanyol de Barcelona is proud to continue to support the league programme, as the Club contributes to the development of grassroots football and is represented around the world.
