RCD Espanyol support campaign against gender violence

The club mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

RCD Espanyol continue with the Club's commitment to eliminating gender violence by marking the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

The Club has unconditional support for the initiative promoted by the General Secretary of Sport, joining the institutional manifesto to raise awareness and advance in addressing this issue. RCD Espanyol are firmly determined to put an end to any type of violence and lack of equality between men and women.

The 2022 World of Sport Manifesto calls on sports professionals and entities to join this campaign, in which the right of women to safety, physical and psychological integrity, health, education, social and political participation is called for and protected.

On Friday, 25th November, the Generalitat de Catalunya called upon all citizens to observe a minute of silence to draw attention to the cause.
