RCD Espanyol go pink this Sunday
Pink away kit to be worn against Real Valladolid for International Breast Cancer Awareness Day
RCD Espanyol are committed to helping society and social causes. This Sunday, coinciding with the match against Real Valladolid, various actions will be carried out to mark International Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
The first team will wear their pink away kit at the RCDE Stadium, as the colour is that used to raise awareness of the disease. In addition, RCD Espanyol Femení will take part in this initiative in their league match against Real Oviedo on Saturday, while youth teams will join the campaign where possible.
RCD Espanyol support the initiatives promoted by the Barcelona Association Against Cancer (AAC). The RCDE Stadium will be lit up in pink at the end of the match. In addition, at the RCDE Stadium Store will be selling a commemorative pink scarf, with profits from sales on Sunday going to the AAC.
With the slogan 'Pink is more than a colour,' the ACC will have a tent in the Fan Zone. RCDE Volunteers and volunteers from the association will collect donations both there and inside the RCDE Stadium. The game will be attended, as invited associations, by Invicancer, Endavant Chic@s and the Association against Metastatic Cancer.
