Powerpixxel revolution reaches the RCDE Stadium
This Thursday the club will present the giant advertising screen in the Prat Goal, successfully installed in the last hours
RCD Espanyol and Powerpixxel, German leading commercial company on the use of LED technology, will present this Thursday at 7 pm the giant screen that has been installed on the facade of Prat Goal of the RCDE Stadium thanks to an agreement between the two entities. In an open public event, the club and Powerpixxel will show the official start of the projection of advertising and corporate messages, which can be seen permanently from around RCDE Stadium and also from one of the main access road to the Barcelona city and its airport.
The screen has technical characteristics that make it a very outstanding innovation and institutional commercial exploitation of the LFP Stadium; it occupies 176 square meters, with 8 metreshigh and 22 wide. In addition, the display consists of a total of 560 strips of 8 metres long with a pixel pitch of 40x40 mm quality. Undoubtedly, this is a major improvement and a new business opportunity for RCDE Stadium, listed in 2010 as best sports facility in the world, that remains as a reference in the commercial exploitation of sports facilities with sustainability, efficiency and low energy consumption, main feature of LED technology.
The product is produced exclusively in Germany, where Powerpixxel was foundedin 2010. Located in the metropolitan area of Stuttgart, leading region in technological innovation in Germany, the company has shaken up the advertising industry buildings and facilities. Thanks to its unique and patented as Powerpixxel Stripes Glass Powerpixxel or systems, the company implements LED screens in glass facades maintaining transparency from inside the building and being permanent display advertising from outside. Currently, Powerpixxel has new global projects in cities like Dubai or Istanbul and plans to project itself as a company in other cities in Spain and in South America.
RCD Espanyol, with the collaboration of Powerpixxel, pioneers once again the innovation of the use and exploitation of our main facility. The agreement with Powerpixxel has established a business model operation by both parties, with a guaranteed minimum annual income for the club. From this Thursday night onwards, the giant screen advertising and corporate messages will operate at full capacity and exposure 7/24.
