Bernardo underlines that "our latest sensations are very positive"
The good image shown last Sunday against Villarreal is the way the team wants to continue taking to recover the flight in LaLiga. Bernardo points in that direction and recognizes that "when you lose you know that you have many things to improve, but the feelings have been very positive and we leave with a good taste behind us. We have to take a step forward, concede fewer goals" and, somehow, hold the rival "as was seen with Villarreal.
The defender made it clear that little by little will be "evolving as days elapse" and does not hesitate to reaffirm that "the feelings are positive. The response of the team is good and we are very aware of the importance of competition, whatever it is.
In any case, it confirms that "we have a large squad, with enough resources to face the three competitions that we must play. We face it with the maximum illusion, hunger and competitiveness. We need to focus on this Thursday's 120 per cent match. We have a good opportunity to keep scoring points and keep up the positive momentum.
He acknowledges that the team's response to this new proposal "has been outstanding" and that the group's attitude to this new idea deserves an "honourable mention". He insists that "there is plenty of quality and that allows you to see what type of flexibility is needed at any given moment. I think it will fit very well.
He does not forget that the beginning of the League "has not been the desired one", but he states that "what has to concern us now is to do a good job because that way you are closer to success. We have to consolidate with good results, that no doubt will arrive".
He insists that "we have full confidence in ourselves. We've got ourselves in here and we're going to go ahead. The way we performed against Villarreal is what will make you come closer to winning the games. The more things you do well, the closer you are to victory. That's why he doesn't hesitate to conclude that "we're aware that we're capable and have enough experience to take it forward. We have to push ourselves to the limit”.
