New members join Sports Department

Domingo Catoira, head of the Technical Secretariat, and Hugo Blanco, director of the Identity Area

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona announces that Domingo Catoira and Hugo Blanco have joined the club's Sports Department. Catoira, who will start his work at the club immediately, will be responsible for the Technical Secretariat, while Blanco will be the director of the newly-created Identity Area within the sports management, from the first team to grassroots football. Blanco will join the club from 1 July.

Catoira (9-9-1972) arrives at RCD Espanyol de Barcelona after both professional experiences at Valencia CF and Real Valladolid. For his part, Blanco (2-4-1984) was, until now, responsible for sports projects in La Liga.
