Naci Ünüvar: "Espanyol was always my first option"

The new loan signing talks about his move

New RCD Espanyol signing Naci Ünüvar gave his first statements upon joining the club on loan from AFC Ajax, and expressed his excitement at the move.

"I'm very proud and happy. I'm at a beautiful club, in Spain, in a top competition. I'm really happy," he said on Thursday upon his arrival.

"I think I'm a player that can play in midfield or on the left wing. I can score goals, get assists and put teammates one-on-one with the goalkeeper."

"I know that this is a big club, in Barcelona, who always have good seasons in LaLiga. So, when I was told of the offer by my agent and my father, I said "I want this." Espanyol was the first option for me, so I'm really happy."
