Martínez: "We have to continue making progress"
The coach analyses defeat to Osasuna
Leaving El Sadar after an adverse result, RCD Espanyol coach Diego Martínez reiterated that his side "had worked hard to win the game" against Osasuna, and emphasised the need to move on and focus on Sunday's fixture against Elche.
“We have to eliminate this frustration quickly. The team had worked during the week to take victory here. I'm annoyed by the result, and it's a shame that the mistakes we made decided the match," he told the media in his press conference after the match.
"We have to continue making progress on things that didn't work out today in order to earn points, but I can see that we are growing in many other aspects. It's a painful result because the game was going how we wanted it, but we have to learn from all these things. I think we've made a lot of progress in recent weeks and we have a solidity that we didn't have a few days ago," Mártinez continued.
"We have to quickly eliminate this frustration because on Sunday we have another match to play."
