Martínez honoured as part of club tradition

His image is added to the wall of official RCD Espanyol coaches

In a recent tradition, the list of official RCD Espanyol coaches is preserved with paintings at the Juan Segura Palomares auditorium and, as of this Monday, Diego Martínez is the latest incumbent to be added.

The current coach joined Luis Blanco, who took the helm at RCD Espanyol in the last two games of the 2021/22 season.

The event, sponsored by the RCD Espanyol Foundation, was chaired by the CEO, Mao Ye Wu, and Antoni Fernández Teixidó, President of the foundation. Director Rafa Marañón and patrons of the foundation were also present.

Diego Martínez, who arrived at RCD Espanyol at the end of May, has joined an illustrious list coaches who have made history with Los Pericos.
