Join the Solidarity Super League!
We want to be more. We want to share the generous and kind spirit of RCD Espanyol and for all clubs to join the Solidarity Super League. This Wednesday, at the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque, a new step has been taken with the aim of continuing to expand our map of social action and ensuring that the Club can continue developing its support system through Catalonia.
The CEO of RCD Espanyol, Mao Ye Wu, accompanied by advisor, Rafa Marañón, and thhe Social Area Director, Alberto Ariza, reviewed the different social actions that have been carried out in 2022 together with the councils of Barcelona, Sant Adrià de Besòs, Cornellà de Llobregat and Prat de Llobregat, the towns where our Club has a presence. The Club will also expand its field of action and carry out other solidarity actions in the neighbouring Catalan provinces of Lleida, Girona and Tarragona.
Participating in the presentation were the Sports Councilor of the Barcelona City Council, David Escudé, the manager of the Barcelona Esports Institute, Susanna Closa, the Sports Councilor of the Cornellà de Llobregat City Council, Enrique Vanacloy, and the First Deputy Mayor of the Treasury, General Resources and Sports of Sant Adrià de Besòs, Hugo Ferrer, the deputy mayor of the Welfare and Health Area of the Prat de Llobregat City Council, Débora García, & the director of the Sports and Public Health Area, Antonio Hernández.
One of the Club's latest actions was its collaboration with the Sant Adrià de Besòs City Council in collecting food. We must remember that before Christmas, the Club, with the support of the Cornellà City Council and the city's supporters club, collected 600 kilos of food for local communities.
This is not a Christmas campaign, it is our way of being. So in 2023 we want to call on all clubs to join the Solidarity Super League. We want them to show all the work carried out in their environment and thus give more visibility to all the ways of collaborating with entities, groups and foundations that strive daily to make life a little fairer for those who need it most. Join the solidarity Super League!
