RCD Espanyol de Barcelona host Malaysian club Hijau Kuning FC

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona recently welcomed Malaysian club Hijau Kuning FC (HKFC) to Barcelona through the collaboration with LaLiga.

The Club invited board members, coaching staff and academy players of HKFC to its facilities, the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque and the RCDE Stadium. The partnership with LaLiga and HKFC reinforces RCD Espanyol's commitment to internationalisation and the development of grassroots football around the world.

Hugo Blanco, Identity Director and Sports Management Deputy, said, "We are very happy to host this visit of a Malaysian academy, their coaching staff and directors. We believe in the work processes that we are implementing and for us, it is a privilege and a pride to share them on an international level."

Muhammad Talhah Zainol, President of Hijau Kuning FC, said, "Hijau Kuning FC was established in 2021 with the aim of raising our grassroots football to the international level. We want to become the first club to start this program with the help of LaLiga and RCD Espanyol."
