End of professional relationship between José María Durán and RCD Espanyol
The Board of Directors of RCD Espanyol and the club's Managing Director and CEO, José María Durán, have decided, by mutual agreement, to end the professional relationship between the two parties.
The club wish to thank Mr. Durán for his effort and dedication during his second tenure at Espanyol.
The Board of Directors have decided upon a new CEO for the entity: Current Director and Deputy General Manager, Mao Ye.
This decision is part of the development plans established by President Chen Yansheng and his Board of Directors. After six years in which RCD Espanyol have managed to achieve economic stability, the president considers a change in the club's management model to be necessary.
In line with this objective, the President himself will participate directly alongside the new CEO, Mao Ye, in the strategic planning for the next campaign, promoting changes that will accelerate the future growth of the club.
