Emotional day at the Ciutat Esportiva
Children from the Ronald McDonald Foundation visit the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque
On Wednesday, International Childhood Cancer Day, RCD Espanyol men's and women's first team players received a very special visit.
Boys and girls from the Ronald McDonald Foundation, who are fighting cancer, visited the facilities of the Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque and spent a very emotional day with our players.
The children received gifts from the Club from men’s first team coach, Diego Martínez, and from players Joselu, Adri Pedrosa, César Montes, Keidi Bare and Gori. From the women’s first team, women’s football director, Dolors Ribalta, and players Emily Dolan and Nuria Martínez, spent time with the children.
Also present were the members of the DISCAN Social Action Association who provide therapy or activities assisted with dogs. The boys and girls were able to interact with these dogs that are trained to help sick people.
Once again, the Club appreciates the invaluable collaboration of the Voluntaris RCDE.
All of the Cub's social and solidarity actions are linked to the #SuperLigaSolidaria initiative. Join us, because we all play this together!
