Departures in the Sports Area

RCD Espanyol de Barcelona advises that Òscar Perarnau was removed from his current duties as head of the Technical Secretariat on Tuesday. The blue and white director began this second stage with the club in June 2017, in the role of General Sports Director, a position he held until last December, when he became Technical Secretary. The club would like to publicly thank Òscar Perarnau for his dedication, commitment and professionalism over all these years.

On the other hand, management has informed Fran Navarro, one of the coordinators of the blue and white junior football, that it has decided not to renew his contract, which ends on the 30th of June. Navarro took on the role in June 2017. Before that, he had directed the club's Optimisation and Performance department and was in charge of the technical-tactical area of the parrot juniors, in addition to training different reserve teams.
