Club representatives visit local children's hospitals
The RCD Espanyol delegation go to the Hospital de Nens de Barcelona
RCD Espanyol were able to carry out one of the club's most eagerly anticipated actions of the year this Wednesday, as representatives visited several children's hospitals in the Barcelona area.
A reduced institutional representation from RCD Espanyol, still limited by healthcare recommendations after the COVID-19 pandemic, consisted of the club's CEO, Mao Ye, counselor Rafa Marañón, former player and Institutional Relations director, Joan Capdevila, former player Raúl Tamudo, social ambassadors Iñaki Pérez de Arrilucea and Toni Blanch, the director of the Social Area, Alberto Ariza, and the president of the Federació Catalana de Penyes del RCD Espanyol, Ton Roig.
The delegation was able to share moments with the boys and girls and their families at the Hospital de Nens de Barcelona. In addition to conversing with them during the visit, they handed out gifts, with the aim of giving the children a more pleasant stay in the hospital.
In another charitable act, the first team players once again participated in the traditional solidarity calendar of the Escola d'Educació Especial Guimbarda, that was presented on Tuesday.
