Cheddira joins RCD Espanyol on loan

The Moroccan will play for Los Pericos in 2024/25

RCD Espanyol and SSC Napoli have agreed the signing on loan of Walid Cheddira. The forward, an international with Morocco, will play for the club this season.

Cheddira, who this Tuesday passed the relevant medical examination at the Corachan Clinic, has extensive experience in Italian football. He began his career at CS Loreto AD, then in 2019 he signed with Parma, although during his time there he was loaned to SS Arezzo, Lecco, Mantova and Bari, who ended up acquiring him permanently. In 2023 he was transferred to DDC Napoli, who sent him to Frosinone Calcio.

The player will be presented officially in the coming days.
