Ramón ready to make LaLiga bow
The player continues on the comeback trail
Pablo Ramón is in the final stretch of his recovery from the long injury he suffered as a Mirandés player, almost a year ago.
Signed in the winter transfer window, he was able to play a few minutes a few days ago in the Copa Catalunya semifinal against FC Barcelona, but he knows he still needs to continue gaining momentum in the coming weeks.
"I'm available for whatever the coach wants from me. I'm already working with the group. The team are doing very well defensively, so I hope that when it's my turn, I can help us to pick up points. I still have to get back into the rhythm of things, but I'm excited about playing again after 11 months out. It was only a few minutes, but after so much time, it's very exciting."
Ramón has no doubt that the team will stay up, saying that "we will definitely achieve survival. We've seen the progress the players are showing, and there's still room for improvement. I've seen a very united dressing room that competes against any opponents. Of course they'll survive."
He expressed the same sentiment when asked about the upcoming match. "We have to focus on the fact that we're facing great opponents and that we have to go out there and get the three points. I have no doubt we'll have a great match."
