Assessment of season ticket and membership campaign
Deputy Director General Antoni Alegre looks at the data from the recently concluded drive
The Deputy Director General of RCD Espanyol, Antoni Alegre, assessed the club's season ticket campaign upon its conclusion on September 30, in which 27,311 members and 21,681 season ticket holders were confirmed.
"We want to thank our members and season ticket holders for their support," said Alegre. “We are not going to rest on our laurels, however, because we are non-conformists and we want to further increase this number.”
The Deputy Director General explained that the figures come after three atypical seasons due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the team's time in the Segunda División.
Likewise, he stated that a readjustment is taking place after two campaigns in which the membership card has been free.
"We are seeing similar numbers to those of the 2019/20 season, in which we qualified for the Europa League," he stated.
"We will continue to be sensitive of groups that need a boost from the club, and we have already begun to invest in social causes, as announced in the presentation for the season."
In addition to rewarding the loyalty of those with 25, 50 and 75 years of membership, season ticket holders who attend all matches, etc., there will also be offers for new supporters.
“We are going to resume the actions that we did before as a club. We must recover our proximity to the fans, we are already working with Cornellà and El Prat so that people get to know the stadium. It is a moment to recover normality at the club," concluded Alegre.
