Ambitious season ticket campaign
José M. Durán announces new discounts and hopes "not to lose fans" but rather "to win them over with lower prices and compensation"
Espanyol is rethinking its season ticket campaign for the upcoming season. The club's data shows that it will be difficult to count on the same fan base up until the start of the next season. At the press conference this morning, José M Durán said that the club aims to lower the prices for 50% of new season ticket holders, which could stretch to include all current season ticket holders. “Providing current season ticket holders with compensation and discount from last year's COVID crisis means that their pass won't cost them anything in the hope that they'll stay with us. We will bring into place a mechanism whereby they do not have to pay and their season ticket is free. We want to fill the stadium and don’t want to lose season ticket holders. We actually want to attract more fans and we can do that with lower prices and compensation for not being able to attend the first games”.
