A white-and-blue Sant Jordi
Thousands of people came to the RCD Espanyol stand on St. George's Day in Barcelona
RCD Espanyol joined in the celebrations for this year’s Dia de Sant Jordi (St. George’s Day) with a market stand in the heart of Barcelona.
The Club’s stand drew thousands of people across the day who did not hesitate to come and collect their rose, buy a book or take their picture with their loved ones.
RCD Espanyol had institutional representation with Mao Ye Wu (CEO), Rafa Marañón (Director) and Joan Capdevila (Sporting Institutional Relations) in attendance. Men’s first team players Nico Melamed and Martin Braithwaite came to meet fans and sign autographs, as well as players from RCDE Special and other Club representatives such as President of the Foundation, Antoni Fernández Teixidó.
Sant Jordi was, once again, a true success and a demonstration of the strength of the white-and-blue feeling and the faith that Espanyol fans maintain, despite the delicate situation in the table. Happy St. George’s Day!
