“The aim is to win both games”
Joan García asserts that the team have their minds set on three straight wins to end the season
Joan García asserts that the team have their minds set on six points from six in their remaining games, starting away to SD Amorebieta on Sunday.
The goalkeeper said, “The aim is to win these two games, and that is what we are going to do. We are going to go with everything, we are very clear about what we want to achieve our goal. This Sunday's game will be just as important as the last ones, I do not think there is more pressure than normal”.
RCD Espanyol’s final away day of the season brings them to Lezama to take on Amorebieta, who are fighting for survival in the second division while the Mágico have their sights set up to LALIGA EA SPORTS.
García said, “Amorebieta have been one of the best teams in the league in the second half of the season, they are coming off a good run of results and have a real chance to stay up. We expect a very solid opponent, with a lot of intensity and who will try to take advantage of the opportunities they have.
“I feel very comfortable and happy to help the team. We must fight to maximise all options of automatic promotion. We have to win these two games and wait to see what happens in the other matches; with two wins we have a chance at automatic promotion”.
