Reale Seguros closed an agreement with the RCD Espanyol football club, making them the official insurance company of the club for the next three seasons.
The presentation of the agreement took place in the RCDE Stadium and will mean that the corporate image of Reale Seguros will be present in different formats in the stadium, on the official shirt and direct actions will be carried out with the supporters of the white and blue club.
In the words of Reale Seguros CEO Ignacio Mariscal: “Guaranteed we would be back” perfectly summarises the commitment that Reale Seguros has with this historic club, and it's very important for us to join a great brand with so much history, and especially with so much future. And also because Catalonia is a priority area for Reale Seguros, so with this agreement, we want to promote what we already are even more.”
With regard to CEO and Director General of RCD Espanyol, José María Durán, he welcomed Reale Seguros as the club sponsor, and highlighted that “it's an honour for us that Reale Seguros has joined our project and accompanies us in our return to the highest category. We want to thank Reale and their CEO for confiding in RCD Espanyol, and we’re sure that this relationship we start today will be mutually beneficial for both parties.”
The presentation act also included two white and blue legends - José María Calzón who represented the first team from 1975 to 2019, and Eloy Pérez, who captained the side during the 93/94 season. Both participated in previous promotions and head the campaign between both brands. There is also a video in which goalkeeper Carlos Meléndez and manager José Antonio Camacho take part.
