Xavier Andreu, new Communication & Institutional Relations Director

Xavier Andreu Casañas has been appointed Communication and Insitutional Relations Director, with spokesperson functions, of RCD Espanyol.

Xavier Andreu, who will depart his current role as Head of External Relations of the Sant Cugat High Performance Sports Centre (CAR), returns to the Club after 13 years, having served as Communication and External Relations Director from 2006 to 2011.

The experienced press, radio and television journalist previously covered RCD Espanyol for Cadena COPE and Televisió de Catalunya, later serving as director for 10 years in the Sports General Secretary and Physical Activities of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

This decision is part of the Club's intention to strengthen this area after the departure of Sergio Aguilar and continue the expansion of the Club in the communicative and institutional worlds.
