Gerard considers that he is in a good moment and that he can play with Caicedo
Gerard Moreno knows that, probably, he is living his best moment in Espanyol. The striker has played a lot of minutes in the last game and he said that “when you play a few matches in a row, your confidence grows. You feel better and you play with less pressure”.
The Catalan striker considers that he is compatible with Caicedo and that “we can play together, as you could see against Athletic. We were able to create opportunities and help the team. We have a healthy rivalry and that is what makes the team grow”.
Asked about his similarity with Tamudo, his idol in his childhood, he said that “I don’t like to be compared, specially, because he is a myth and for all he did. I try to keep apart and try to do my best. The other day I wasn’t able to score but I think I am playing good matches. I am sure that little by little I will achieve my best level”.
About this weekend without football, Gerard said that “we are in a good moment and this will be good to forget about the pressure we had. This season we are fighting for a target that is not what we thought when the season started. I think these days will be good to rest and next week we will come back with the intention of doing a good match in Málaga”.
