Sergio García is new player of RCD Espanyol. The Catalan striker and the club have confirmed in the last hours the principle of agreement reached last January that, then, could not materialize contractually. Sergio Garcia, who will be a few weeks more in Qatar before come back to Barcelona, will definitely sign the new contract to join the club. The scorer of the Bon Pastor will sign for an expandable season according to the achievement of goals and played matches.
Sergio García has played the last two seasons with Al-Rayyan Sports Club of Qatar League and he has been one of the most outstanding players of the Asian team. The parakeet striker, who has played 298 games in LaLiga scoring 71 goals, returns to Espanyol, where he played five seasons.
The striker will be presented when he comes back to Barcelona before the start of the preseason of the first white and blue team.
