RCDeSports qualifies for the new Rocket League Major with first European division teams
Yesterday the Espanyol Rocket League squad qualified for a spot in the new Rocket League Major, the European Invitational. After beating some of their direct rivals from the RLRS (Rocket League Rivals Series) to make it to the main event.
The European Invitational is a tournament organized by John "Johnnyboi_i" MacDonald, a prominent personality in the Rocket League community. The tournament is formed by 11 invited teams - all 10 teams of the RLCS (Rocket league Championship Series) and 1 special guest from the Middle East, SandRock Gaming - plus 5 qualified RLRS teams, 16 participants in total.
RCDeSports kicked off the qualifying with a superb victory against “Servette Geneva'' by 3-0 and then faced Triple Trouble, led by the ex-barça player Bluey. After an intense match the final result was 3-2 for the pericos, that's two wins in a row against Triple Trouble, after also beating them in the first round of the RLRS.
With two victories in their pockets RCDeSports qualified undefeated along with WDG, while Triple Trouble and Servette Geneva found their way through the loser’s bracket. Notorious Legion got the last spot available after defeating the other Spanish team in the RLRS competition, Team BDS.
The Espanyol’s group is a tough one. With Mousesports, Reciprocity and Triple Trouble. This is the third time in 3 weeks Triple Trouble comes across Espanyol’s way!

Hopefully we will get 3 wins in a row against Triple Trouble, today at 7pm, but we know they will come thirsty for revenge.
This is Espanyol’s chance to live a real RLCS experience and confirm the team’s great level, still undefeated in the RLRS.
