RCD Espanyol opens invites for Easter tournament

The second edition of the ESPANYOL 1900 tournament, the largest open tournament in Barcelona over Easter

Easter 2024 will see the ESPANYOL 1900 tournament take place in Barcelona for the second year in a row.

The youth football tournament, to be played on 29th-31st March, will be played at the Club's Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque training ground and the San Adrià de Besós football pitches.

This is the largest open tournament in Barcelona that will be held during Easter and the second edition of the tournament, which debuted earlier this year. Teams are welcome to register to take part in the tournament, which will see the participation of international academies and schools associated with RCD Espanyol.

The seven-a-side competition will consist of a qualifying phase (Friday and Saturday) and a final phase at the Dani Jarque training ground (Sunday). Each team will play a minimum of five games with two halves of 15 minutes each.

This 3-day tournament promises to be an exciting Easter event, combining the passion for football with vibrant competition in top-notch facilities. In addition, it will be a special celebration in what is 100 years of the Espanyol academy.
