RCD Espanyol join 'Pelota del Corazón' campaign
The project will raise funds for research into rare diseases
RCD Espanyol have given their support to a new charity project promoted by the ambassador of the Czech Republic, Libor Secka, which aims to raise funds to fight against rare diseases.
Secka was welcomed at the RCDE Stadium by the CEO of the club, Mao Ye Wu. He also met with the coach, Manolo González, who signed a ball that will soon be auctioned to raise funds for research into diseases considered rare.
RCD Espanyol player Alex Král also took the opportunity to greet the ambassador.
The idea of the “Pelota del Corazón” campaign is to collect a ball with the signature of each of the 20 coaches of the Spanish Primera División teams. These balls will be auctioned and the money will be invested in research to combat rare diseases.
